Publily Cyr; Publilius Syrus, I in. BC. e., Roman mimograf, a Syrian from Antioch office, released in Rome, the popular author of literary mimes, as well as actor. Preserved only fragments of his plays, and two names: Potatores (drunkards) or Putatores (Lumberjacks) and Bryuzga (Murmido). Under the name P.S. extant collection of moral maxims, is drafted in the I. n. e., which contained the worldly maxims different writers.
