M. Hidalgo. The son of a wealthy Creole, officer. After the defeat of the rebels in January 1811, Mr.. Hidalgo replaced the post of generalissimo of the rebel army. In March 1811, Mr.. together with other leaders of the uprising was taken prisoner and 26 June qazi Á•³ n.
