Roberto Cavalli was born in Florence in 1940 in a family of famous artists. His grandfather on his mother's side was Giuseppe Rossi, a famous Florentine artist - an impressionist, whose works are in the gallery Uffitstsi. Following family tradition, Roberto went to the famous Florentine Academy of Arts, mastering the core knowledge and skills in design and fine art.
