Troepol'skaya Gabriel N. (1905 - 1995), writer.
Born on November 16 (29 NS) in the village Novospasovka Tambov province in the priest's family. Received a thorough education at home.
He studied at the agricultural college, where he graduated in 1924.
He worked as a rural teacher, then from 1931 - Agronomy.
From 1938 began to publish in newspapers and magazines.
In 1953 the magazine "New World" was published series of satirical stories "From the notes of an agronomist, later a compilation of" Prokhor seventeenth and others "(1954).
In 1963 published a story "in the reeds, positively marked by criticism. A notable phenomenon of social life has become Troepol'skaya polemical essay "On the rivers, soils and other" and his statement in the newspaper "Pravda" (1966) in the protection of nature.
The most famous product is the writer's lyrical novel "White Bim Black Ear," written in 1971. Same film enjoyed huge success in the country.
In 1976, he worked in the editorial board of "Our Contemporary", was one of the best authors sketch-journalistic prose on agricultural topics.
G. Troepol'skaya died in Voronezh, June 30, 1995.
