Nikitin Mikhail Nikitich (15.9.1902, St. Petersburg - 28.10.1950), party leader. Educated in the school union movement (1928) and the Institute of Red Professors (1935). Since 1914 working. In 1918, joined the Young Communist League, in 1925 - in the CPSU (b). From 1929 to the trade union and party work. From 1941 3rd secretary of the Leningrad Regional Committee of the CPSU (b). In July 1941, H. was charged with the creation and management of the guerrilla movement in the Leningrad region. Since Sept.. 1941 appointed early. regional headquarters of the partisan movement. Later served in the Military Council of the Leningrad Front. One of the main organizers of the defense of Leningrad. From 1944 to the Party work in Novosibirsk and Leningrad. In 1949, among others, arrested in TN. "Leningrad case". Sentenced to death. Shot. He was posthumously rehabilitated.
