Biography Glycero
Glyceryl - a Roman emperor in 473-474 years. Glyceryl was proclaimed emperor in March 473 g. commander Gundobadom. According to Jordan, he came to power by seizing more than the election. However, the Byzantine Emperor Leo did not recognize glyceryl and sent to Italy, her stooge Julia Nepos. In June, 474 g. Nepos overthrew glyceryl, but kept him alive and put the bishop in the Roman port (Jordan: 240). Approximately 480 g. Glyceryl became a bishop in the Salon in Dalmatia, and who sent the killers to Nepos (at that time he too was dethroned). Perhaps in the future glyceryl became Archbishop of Milan (Gibbon: 36).
