Biography CAR Marcus Aurelius
Kar Marcus Aurelius - Roman emperor in 282-283 years. Genus. app. 222 g. + 283 g. Kar was born in Narbonskoy Gaul (Eutropius: 9, 18). He passed through all stages of civil and military posts. Emperor Probus appointed him prefect of Pretoria, and in this position he acquired a love of soldiers, that after the assassination of sample seemed the only one worthy of imperial power. By adopting it, Kar decided to continue the campaign against the Persians, begun by his predecessor. His children, Karina and Numerian, he declared Caesar, with Karina instructed to protect Gaul, and Numerian had taken with him to the East.
