Biography Dorpmö?ller Julius (Dorpmeuller)
Dorpmö?ller, Julius (Dorpmeuller), (1869-1945), Reich Minister of Communications and Railways in 1937-45. Born July 24, 1869 in Elberfeld. He graduated from high school in Munich-Gladbach, studied at the Aachen Institute of Technology. From 1898 to 1907 he worked in the Prussian railway administration, then was sent to work in China. In 1914, he left China and across Siberia and European Russia, he returned home to risk their lives. After 1-st World War Dorpmö?ller continued to work on the Germanic railways and in 1926 became CEO reyhsbana (Imperial Railways). In 1937 appointed reyhsverkersministrom (Reich Minister of Communications) and held that post until his death in Malente, Schleswig-Holstein, June 5, 1945.
