Fabre d'Olivet (Fabre D'Olive), Antoine (1767-1825), French writer. Known as a man of fantastic knowledge. In the book 'Il Trovatore' (1803) published the lyrics of Provencal poets 13 in. Proceedings, close to the occult ( 'Golden Verses of Pythagoras', 1813; 'resurrected language of the Jews', 1816), attracted the interest of M. de Nerval and P. M. Rilke. Translating t. h. J Drama. Byron's 'Cain'.
