Kenji Kawai (p. 23/04/1957, Tokyo) - one of the most famous anime composers.
Father Kavaja loved to listen to classical music and house music from the movies. Therefore, the boy also became interested in music.
While studying at Tokyo University (specializing in nuclear engineer ") Kawai unexpectedly won student music competition company" Mazda ". Dropped out just six months before release, he devoted himself entirely professional playing guitar and composing music.

However, the main masterpiece Kavaja soundtrack is a full-length film "Ghost in the" Armor "[Ghost in the Shell] (1995), created by Hosea, a favorite director Kavaja. The brilliant combination of aesthetics of cyberpunk with the melodies of ancient Japanese hymns hardly left untouched even though someone from the audience.
In addition to writing, anime, music, Kawai wrote songs and music for JPOP-performers, console games and feature films. Among the latter best known outside of Japan won the "Ring" [Ring] (1998).
