Koji Morimoto

Koji Morimoto (p. 1959, Osaka) - a famous Japanese animator and anime music video.

In 1980, Morimoto got to work at the studio "Madhouse", which worked on the creation of TV serials.

In 1984 he became an independent animator, and in 1987 made his debut as a director anime novel "Frankenstein Gear" [Franken no Haguruma] in OAV Otomo Katsuhiro "Carnival Robots" [Robot Carnival].

In 1989, Morimoto took part in creating the film Otomo Katsuhiro "Akira" [Akira] as an assistant director.

In 1991 he made his first film - "Fly, a whale named Peak!" [Tobe! Kujira no Piku]. In 1995 - took part in creating the film Otomo's "Memories" [Memories] and removed the first story - "Magnetic Rose" [Magnetic Rose].

In 1999, Morimoto has released an experimental short fantastic anime "Zvukoed Noyzmen" [Onkyo Seimeitai Noiseman], based on a combination of hand-drawn and computer graphics.

In addition, he also made two animated clip - "Extra" for trans-composer Ken Ishii and "Survival" for the rock group "Glay".
