Seymour Cray (Cray Seymour) (p. 1925 Chippeua Falls, pc. Wisconsin), an American electronics engineer, inventor of the supercomputer.

In 1950, Cray graduated from the University of Minnesota with a Bachelor of Electrical Engineering. He started his career with work on the UNIVAC I, the first commercially viable electronic digital computer of the first generation.
