Biography Naipaul Vidiadhar Surayprasad
Naipaul, VIDIADHAR SURAYPRASAD (Naipaul, Vidiadhar Surajprasad) (p. 1932), a Trinidadian writer, one of the most famous English writers of the Caribbean. Born August 17, 1932 near Port of Spain on o.Trinidad (now the capital of the State of Trinidad and Tobago). In 1948, Trinidad and received a scholarship two years later was able to go to Oxford University. During this time, gathered local anecdotes and stories, which, along with carefully veiled autobiographical moments gave a local flavor to the first four books of his prose. Arriving in 1950 in England, Naipaul wrote stories and reviews for the Caribbean edition of BBC-si. In 1957 came his first novel "The Mysterious Masseur" (The Mystic Masseur). Was followed by the story "Voice of Elvira" (The Suffrage of Elvira, . 1958) and a collection of stories "Miguel Street" (Miguel Street, . 1959), . 1961 saw the light of the biggest and most famous novel Naipaul "House for Mr. Biswas" (A House for Mr.Biswas).,
