Born Dec. 4, 1950 in the Istra district of Moscow region in the family of a railway worker.
In 1974 he graduated from the Moscow Aviation Institute (MAI) of. Ordzhonikidze specialty "of Aviation". Was qualified as an engineer-electrician.
. In 1974 - 76 he worked as an engineer at the Research Institute of Instrument.
. From 1976 to 1987 he worked in the MAI as a senior engineer, lead engineer, director of campus and the chief engineer of the institute.
. Since 1987 - Chief Engineer of the tourist complex "Izmailovo".
. In May 1990 he was elected general director of ZAO Tourist hotel complexes "Izmailovo", held the post until January 2000.
