SEGAL Aleksandr Petrovich

Born December 14, 1947 in Lipetsk.
From 1974 to 1977 he studied at the Mechanics Department of the Polytechnic Institute, Mr.. Lipetsk (out of III year). In 1985 he graduated from the Philosophy Faculty of Moscow State University, in 1988 - postgraduate Philosophy Faculty of Moscow State University.
From July 1977 to May 1978 was working the night shift Lipetsk Zoo. From 1978 to 1980 he served in the army.
From May to September 1980 was re-working the night shift in Lipetsk Zoo.
From April 1989 to April 1991 - Head of intelligence of the Moscow "center" Russia "NPO Trud. From May 1991 to December 1992 - Director of MP "Circulation" and the deputy editor of the newspaper "Observer".
Since December 1992 - Expert of the Standing Council of Federation of Independent Trade Unions of Russia (FNPR) on humanitarian issues. Since February 1993 - press-secretary of FNPR. From July 1992 to January 1993 was managing editor of the Moscow Trade Union "Solidarity". In February 1992 - April 1994 - columnist "Solidarity".
. He was arrested by law enforcement agencies on Oct. 3, 1993, together with the deputies of the Moscow Soviet Boris Kagarlitsky and Vladimir Kondratov, and with them was beaten in the police department.
