Was born in Tiflis. Graduated from the Georgian Institute of Forestry Engineering (1939), acting school in Tbilisi to / Art (1944).
People's Artist of the Georgian SSR (1963). State Winner. Prize of the USSR (1941 - for participation in the film 'Arsene').
