Biography Haas, Fedor Petrovich
(1780-1853 gg.) - A famous Russian doctor and humanist. In 1811, Mr.. published a study on existing and newly opened them springs in Essentuki. From 1828, Mr.. appointed chief physician of the Moscow prison. Fought for the improvement of prisoners, the sick and the homeless poor. On his initiative in 1832. built prison hospital on the Sparrow Hills in Moscow for his collection of donations Petrowka built a hospital for homeless patients. All their money spent on assistance to the poor, and he died in loneliness and poverty in the hospital.
