Biography Mill, John Stuart
(1806 - 1873) - English philosopher and economist, a representative of associative psychology. As a methodological basis of their 'mental chemistry' put forward the thesis of the irreducibility of the properties of the result of the associative properties of the association to the sum of their parts. Considered that the process of association as a real association occurs at the level of the brain, physiological processes, and consciousness is merely as an epiphenomenon.
