Romanov, Victor Ye

Born September 15, 1937 in Leningrad. He graduated from the Leningrad Institute of Textile and Light Industry Kirov, specializing in technology clothing "(1963). Upon graduation he worked in it a research assistant, head teacher, vice-rector for evening and distance learning, Associate Dean of Academic Affairs. In 1972 - 1975 he worked Adviser on Higher Education in Algeria. And in 1975 he returned to the Institute and became chair of design and technology of garments, and since 1986 - Vice President for Academic Affairs. In 1988 he was elected rector.

Elected a deputy of the Kuibyshev District Council (1967 - 1972, 1977 - 1984).
Awarded the Order of Red Banner of Labor (1981), medals "For Labor" (1960) and "For Labor Valor" (1970). Honored Master of Sports, a bronze medalist in cycling.
He is married and has two children.
