Goloshchekin David Semenovich

Born June 10, 1944 in Leningrad. In 1960 he graduated from music school at the Leningrad State Conservatory named after Rimsky-Korsakov. Since 1961 works as a professional musician. Speaks piano, trumpet, flyugel-mountain, saxophone, violin, bass, drums, vibraphone. Played in Yu Vikharev quartet, octet I. Petrenko, Big Band I. Weinstein. In 1969 he created his own jazz ensemble. The creator of Leningrad (St. Petersburg) jazz club. In 1989 he founded the State Jazz Philharmonic Hall (now - St. Petersburg Philharmonic Jazz).
