Biography AVIN Aleksandr Pavlovich
(born 1786, died in 1854) was educated in the marine corps and in 1804, with some of his comrades, was sent to England for improvement in the maritime case. Situated on Nelson's squadron, he participated in the Battle of Trafalgar, and in 1827, commanding the spacecraft Gangut "has specific differences in the extermination of the Turkish fleet at Navarino. Subsequently A. served as Chief of Staff of the Black Sea Fleet and the commander of the Sevastopol port. He died at the rank of a member of the Admiralty Board.
