Biography ARTYOMOVSK-Semyon Stepanovich Gulak
Maloross born, after her studies in Italy, entered the Imperial Russian Opera in St. Petersburg, where he stayed from 1842 to 1864, performing a variety of foreign parties and the Russian repertoire. The best batches of it were Ruslan (in Glinka's opera), Don Juan (in Mozart), and especially Moskal-Charivnik. His opera "Zaporozhets over the Danube", staged for the first time May 25, 1863 in St. Petersburg, had at one time success. Her score (a copy) and the party is stored in the central library of the Imperial Theaters in St. Petersburg. He also wrote a few songs
