Biography Kommissarzhevskaya Fedor Petrovich
(1838 - 1905). Studied singing at the Milan Conservatory, performed with success in Italy. In 1863 he made his debut at the Mariinsky Theater in "Lucrezia Borgia" and remained at the scene before 1880. The lyric tenor Kommissarzhevskaya, small in size, are soft and expressive. His best roles were: Don Juan in "The Stone Guest Dargomyzhsky, Levko - in" May Night "by Rimsky-Korsakov, The Pretender - in" Boris Godunov "by Mussorgsky.
