Biography LEHMAN Julius Yakovlevich
(1834 - 1901). He studied at the Academy of Fine Arts, received a gold medal for the painting "Farewell to the bride", the title of class artist - to 5 watercolor portraits. Settled in Paris, wrote almost exclusively to ladies' portraits, head and polufigury young women. Many of his works of this kind appeared in exhibitions of the Association Wanderers. In the museum of Alexander III - his "veiled lady" in the Tretyakov Gallery - "The lady in the costume of the Directoire period" (1881) and "For needlework" (1887).
