He received medical education at the University of Montpellier. Joined Calvinists. D. written six works on medicine, and four works on yuditsiarnoy astrology, through which gained international fame. But the most popular was his treatise on medical astrology "Ad astrorum judicia facilis introductio" (1557), which was translated into French ( "L'Introduction au jugement des astres"; 1558) and English (1598) languages.
