Biography Nicholas DeVore
(DeVore, deVore) (1882, Oenone, Ohio - after 1949) Graduated Beknellovsky University at Lewisburg, pc. Pennsylvania. Then he studied at the Central College of Physicians in Indianapolis. He defended his thesis for his Ph.D.. D. was married to Blanche March, who bore him a son and daughter. In the 1940's., Where D. led the most active astrological and literary activity, he lived in New York.
D. - One of the leading astrologers in the middle of the twentieth. He was interested in how the classic methods of astrology, as well as new developments, this interest naturally led him to create Astrological Research Foundation (he became its chairman). The main achievement of the D. in astrology was the preparation of the "Encyclopedia of Astrology" (1947), which is already more than half a century, retains its popularity. By the work of the Society and the compilation encyclopedia D. attracted such major astrologers of his time, as Jane and Charles Frederick Van Norstrand. Deeply interested in "space psychology, D. wrote the work "Your Cosmic Portrait" ( "Your cosmic portrait") and a number of articles for the magazine "Horoscope".
D. also known as a songwriter and editor and compiler repeatedly reprinted collections of music (organ classics, songs and ballads, violin, piano pieces), author of reference books ( "The Dictionary of the violinist, and others).
