Biography Rhodes Evdem
(ca. 350 BC, Rhodes - OK. 290 BC) A friend and disciple of Aristotle. E.R. - Author of the first historical research on astronomy, astrology and mathematics, covering the period from VI to IV in. BC. Unfortunately, to this day from his work "Astrologike istoria" ( "History of astrology") came only a few small fragments. E.R. also known for his treatment of Aristotelian ethics (ethics Evdemova in 7 books), which he gave a more theological direction, the very uncharacteristic Aristotle. Excerpts works E.R. history, geometry, arithmetic, astronomy, published in 1878.
