EVDEM (Eudemos)

Evdem; Eudemos, with Rhodes, IV / III Centuries. BC. e., Greek philosopher, physician and mathematician. E. Theophrastus was, along with the most outstanding student of Aristotle. Probably worked at Rhodes. Engaged in physics, mathematics, ethics, stylistics, history of mathematics and astrology. He also wrote commentaries to the works of Aristotle. In some of E. leads verbatim fragments of works of his teacher. Proceedings E. preserved in fragments.
