General information (in the world - Resurrection Vasily Nikolaevich), philosopher, theologian. Graduated Moscow. Theological Academy in 1816. Taught in St. Petersburg, Orel, Kazan, Simbirsk. The first historian of Russian philosophy, defended its identity and its alleged lack of connection with the movement of Western thought. Supporter of the concept of natural law.
