Terence Rattigan (Rattigan Terence)

Terence Mervyn Rattigan was born on June 10, 1911 in London. He studied at Harrow and Oxford University, where he joined the university theater company. His play the first episode (First Episode), written jointly with F. Heyman, was set professional theater in 1933, but was hardly noticed by critics. Rattigan did not lose heart, dropped out and went to London, hoping to succeed in the theatrical arena.
