Biography Risale Jose
(1861-1896) Born June 19, 1861 in Kalambi (Laguna province, Central Luzon). He graduated from Jesuit College in Manila. In 1882 he was sent to Spain, where he studied medicine and philosophy at the University of Madrid. Many traveled to Europe, in 1886 published his first novel Nedotyka (Noli me tangere), directed against the Spanish rule in the Philippines, after which he was expelled from the country. In 1889, working as a doctor in Hong Kong, published a second novel protest Filibuster (El Filibusterismo), in 1892 founded the League of the Philippines. Upon arrival in Manila in 1892 was arrested and exiled for four years on the island of Mindanao. Once in August 1896, in Cavite province, broke out big antiispanskoe uprising, Rizal was arrested and accused of inciting anti-state activities. He was executed in Manila on Dec. 30, 1896.
