Biography Titov, Valentin G.
Valentin G. was born in April 1919 in Smolensk. His father, a worker-fitter, in 1918, he moved his family in the Rostov region, to the place of their service. Valentin Titov graduated from high school and enrolled in Kharkiv military medical school. But the work voenfeldshera it did not meet, and he made the transfer to the post of commander of the combatant. He participated in battles against the Japanese imperialists in the Khalkhin Gol, guarding the border in Mongolia. In October 1941 the company commander, Lieutenant Titov infantry regiment fought in the Great Patriotic War. He was wounded three times. He was awarded two Orders of Red Banner, Order of Kutuzov of the third degree, Alexander Nevsky, World War II second degree, Red Star and medals.
