In 1902, Mr.. studied at the St. Petersburg art school. In 1905-1907. Paris learns from Matisse, Cezanne and is influenced by Cubist. Since 1909. begins to exhibit in the Salon of Independent and Salon d'Automne in Paris, creates projects of furniture and dolls, caricatures of famous people. In 1909, Mr.. in his Paris studio creates "Academy Vasilieva, which became the center of meetings of artists, writers. Later, creates "Russian Academy", in which there were workshops of painting, sculpture, gave lectures on art. In 1909-14 he. traveled and visited Russia, took part in the decoration of the church of St.. Spirit in Talashkino on sketches NK. Roerich. In the 20-ies. France has created the costumes and masks for the Swedish Ballet, was engaged in wall paintings.
