Born in 1886 in the city of Plonsk Warsaw Province. Primary education in the reformed heder, where instruction was in Hebrew. In 1903, Mr.. joined the labor movement Po'alei Zion ", and in 1906. moved to Palestine. In the same year was elected to the Central Committee Po'alei Zion ". He worked in the agricultural settlements, while actively engaging in social activities.
