This kind of actor with an intelligent and courageous person known to all fans of alternative cinema. He embodies a number on the screen almost the most repulsive characters in world cinema, but was able to open and bright side of his talent that made him one of the most enigmatic people of American cinema.

Harvey Keitel was born on May 13, 1939 in Brooklyn. The education he received, mainly on the street (the street knowledge of the laws he then reliably demonstrated in the films "Taxi Driver", "Mean Streets" and "Reservoir Dogs"). He was a clumsy child with poor diction, his shyness and zakompleksovannost led to the fact that he stopped going to school and was anxious his vocal studio. At the recently concluded as the Moscow Film Festival Keitel received from the hands of his friend Oleg Tabakov's special jury prize for individual achievement in cinematography.
