Romanenko, Yury

Astronaut Russia. Born Aug. 1, 1944 in the village (now - pgt) Koltubanovsky Buzuluk district of the Orenburg region in the family of a sailor. After graduating from high school worked as a concrete worker, then as a mechanic, and in 1962 entered the Chernigov Higher Military Aviation School for Pilots.
