RAFIG Iskander Valiullovich

People's Artist of Tatarstan, Honored Artist of Russia, professor of Kazan State Architectural Academy

Born in Kazan in 1929. He graduated from the Latvian Academy of Arts in Riga in 1955. Member of USSR Union of Artists since 1964. For many years the product I.V. Rafikova known in the republic and beyond. Appearing on national, regional, all-union and international exhibitions, they became an event, estimated at local and national press as a success, the achievement of the artist. Rafikov I.V. - An artist who works both in the portrait genre, easel paintings, landscapes and still lifes, as well as in decorating books. His works are kept in museums of fine arts in Russia, Tatarstan, Berlin, and in private collections in Finland, USA and Japan.
