Biography Kazakov, Yury Pavlovich
(1927 - 1982)
Born on July 8 in Moscow in a working class family. From his childhood dream of becoming a musician, the future writer graduated from Musical College. In 1950 - 60's saw the light of the book: "at the station," "On the road," "Easy Life", "blue and green," "The smell of bread," "Arcturus - hound dog," "Two in December," and others.
The special relationship he had for the Russian North. Already early stories talked about the love of this edge, excellent knowledge of coast-dwellers, their way of life, language. In 1961, the book of essays "Northern Diary", which was enlarged over the years with new stories, travel writer on fishing seiner, the heroes of whom were sailors and fishermen from Arkhangelsk, Murmansk, the natives of the New Earth. The latest edition of the book was in 1973.

At the age of 55 years died Y. Kazakov. Posthumously published the book "Two Nights" ( "Separation of souls"), which have been collected have not yet published their works, including unfinished.
