Biography Vladimir Orlov
Vladimir Orlov (p. 1936), novelist.
Born on August 31 in Moscow in the family of journalist. After school he entered the Moscow University in the Faculty of Journalism (1954 - 59). For ten years he worked in the newspaper "Komsomolskaya Pravda". Over the years, has written a book of essays - "The way a length of seven centimeters" (1960), novels "salted watermelon" (1965) and "Once a blue moon" (1968).

In 1969, became a professional writer, all the time and effort giving literary work. In 1975 he published the novel "Incident at St. Nicholas."

Widespread fame Orlov received after the publication of the novel "violist Danilov (1981). In 1988 published the novel "The Apothecary". In recent years, Orlov teaches at the Literary Institute. Gorky The seminar prose, leaving the literary creativity.

In 1997 the magazine "Youth" presented a new book writer - the novel "Shevrikuka, or love to a ghost". Orlov lives and works in Moscow.
