Tushnova Veronica Mikhailovna (1915 - 1965), poet.
Born on March 14 (27 NS) in Kazan in professorial family. Ibid graduated from high school. As a child she wrote poetry. Then his family moved to Leningrad and at the request of his father was admitted to the medical institute. Institute is not finished, though, and studied for four years. Took up painting, but then began a serious passion for poetry.
In 1941 entered the Literary Institute. Gorky, but the study did not have to. The war began, and she began to work in hospitals, having the little girl and a sick mother. Continues to write poetry.
In 1945 the publishing house "Young Guard" has issued a collection of poetry Tushnova "First Book". In 1950 Tushnova publishes the poem "The Road to Kluhor", "Way-road".
The real talent Tushnova revealed in the last period of her work: the collection of "Memory of the Heart" (1958), "Second Wind" (1961) and "One Hundred Hours of Happiness" (1965). Love - cross-cutting theme in her poems, it is associated with sorrow and joy, loss and hope, present and future. She loudly talked about love, has called for a truly human relations among people. Her poems were very popular.
After a severe illness at the age of 50 years, Veronica Tushnova July 7, 1965, died in Moscow.
