Biography Klaus Bonhoeffer (Bonhoeffer)
Bonhoeffer, Klaus (Bonhoeffer), (1901-1945), German lawyer, member of the resistance movement, brother and son of Dietrich Bonhoeffer, Hans von Dohnanyi, who took part in the plot against Hitler. Born January 5, 1901 in Breslau. Law practice began in 1930, later, in 1936, became the legal adviser to Lufthansa. Since the beginning of their careers felt shame for the Nazi regime in Germany, which led him to collaborate with some groups of the resistance. He was arrested by the Gestapo and February 2, 1945 appeared before the People's Tribunal found him guilty of treason. On the night of 22 to 23 April 1945, just before the entry of Soviet troops in Berlin, Bonhoeffer was executed by the SS.
