Rope Gurievich Gregory (1895-1964), Ukrainian composer and choral conductor, People's Artist of Ukraine (1960). Organizer and leader of the Ukrainian State Folk Choir (since 1965 his name). Professor of the Kiev Conservatory (from 1947). USSR State Prize (1948).
