Biography Gary Sinise
Gary Sinise was born in Blue Island, a suburb of Chicago (Illinois, USA). Father - film director, Robert L. Sinise. Gary graduated from high school in Highland Park. In school years Sinise fond of rock and roll, paying little attention to learning, and once played a role in the play "West Side Story," the theater was ill for life. By the time he graduated - with difficulty - school, Sinise was almost a professional actor. In 1974, Sinise and some friends (among whom was John Malkovich), created in Chicago, who later became a famous troupe called "Steppenwolf"; in its composition, he worked as an actor and director. Sinise also put one of the most remarkable performances of the troupe - "True West" by Sam Shepard, with whom he debuted on Broadway. In 1979, Gary comes to Hollywood, intending to act in films, but fails.
His Hollywood career began Sinise as a director, removing two episodes of the television series "Crime Story" and the movie "Far from Home" (1988) with Richard Gere. Only in 1992, Sinise was withdrawn in the military drama "A Midnight Clear", in the same year, he combines his acting and directing talents in the remake of the classic bands of John Steinbeck's Of Mice and Men "(1992). Sinise career peak came in the mid 90's and in 1994 he starred in the mini - series Stephen King's "The Stand", and in 1995 - played Lt.
