Biography Yoshifumi Kondo
Yoshifumi Kondo (31.03.1950, Niigata Prefecture - 21/01/1998, Tokyo) - animator, artist and designer, a close associate of Hayao Miyazaki and Isao Takahata.
For next work Kondo brought him with Miyazaki and Takahata. It was their joint serial Lupine III "[Lupin III] (1971-1972), created by the studio" TMS ".
Later Kondo went to work at the studio "Nippon Animation" as the main animator, designer and artist. From time to time he participated in projects Miyazaki and Takahata. In the studio "Studio Ghibli" Kondo was only in 1988, when he took part in the creation of the film Takahata, Grave of the Fireflies "[Hotaru no Haka].
Since then, Kondo is one of the most respected studio staff and participates in all its projects. His first directorial work was a small commercial movie "Sky-blue seed" [Sorairo no Tane] (1992).
Finally, in 1995, Kondo trust directing a large project - a full-length film "Whisper of the Heart" [Mimi wo Sumaseba]. His script, however, still wrote Miyazaki. This was the first film studio "Studio Ghibli", used computer graphics.
Miyazaki's film "Princess Mononoke" [Mononoke Hime] (1997) was the last work of Kondo.
Personal achievements Condo happened to be in the shadow of his more famous colleagues. Sadly, the creators of the "second tier" and that they meant to the masterpieces of the classics, remembered only when they die.
