David Zucker

Director, actor and screenwriter David Zucker was born in a small town in Wisconsin. Prior to her film debut he worked with his brother Jerry Zucker and college friend Jim Abrahams in the theater improvisation Kentucky Fried Theater (the name can be translated as "Kentucky" K "Theater of Miniatures"). Satirical thrust of their work manifested itself there, and in 1977 the trio released on screens now Kentucky Fried Movie - a scathing satire on television, the standards of cinema and pop culture in general. The film was quite a resounding success that no one expected. Three years later, David Zucker of the same trio took part in the creation superhits "Airplane!" (1980), who not only dug a grave disaster-movie genre, but also made their creators some of the most famous comedy directors. Painting "Top Secret!" (1984) had such a resounding success, but its creation from a financial point of view it is justified. Next their work "Ruthless People" became a hit. In the early 80's the brothers Zucker did show a parody of the police militia, which was called "Police Station". It was filmed Lezli Nielsen - comedian, whose viewers have already seen in the comedy "Airplane!". Comic trilogy "Naked Gun" was the most remarkable creation of David and Jerry Zucker.
