The Russian actor and KVN-participator Nikolay Naumov was born in Perm on February 28, 1982. In his childhood he dreamed to become a military man, as his father, he even studied at a specialized military school in Perm. But Nikolay matriculated pedagogical university, faculty of foreign languages.
He could become translator or teach English language to children, but he did not finish his education. At the university there was a strong school of KVN where Nikolay acquainted with many remarkable people.
Due to playing in KVN, Nikolay Naumov achieved great results, got to the Higher League and became one of the most remembered members of the KVN command 'Parma' (Perm).
In 2004, being still a student he went to Moscow in order to meet the Scottish writer Michael Kerenza and bring him to the Center of the Scottish culture at native faculty. While they went in a train, they had time to make friends and subsequently based a grant for students.
Today the Kerenza-Naumov grant is given to students of the faculty of foreign languages of the Perm state pedagogical university with the purpose to stimulate them to pursue the translational activity.
Besides, in 2006 Nikolay Naumov published his own book translated to 44 languages of the world.
For the first time Nikolay Naumov acted in film in 2003, having played a bit part in the serial 'the Mongoose'. In 2009 he appeared in a bit part as a GAI officer in the film ' Burdocks. The first episode'.
