Russian citizens from Gaza are checking in at Amman airport
Russians and CIS citizens are now checking in at Amman airport, Jordan, to be boarded on a plane of the Russian Emergency Ministry, a REGNUM correspondent was told at the press office of the Emergency Minsitry.
An Il-62 plane landed today in Amman at 10:05 a.m. today, where the second stage of the evacuation from the Gaza Strip is taking place. 156 Russians and CIS citizens are planned to be taken from Amman. The evacuated persons are scheduled to arrive in the Moscow airport of Domodedovo in the afternoon..
The first stage of the evacuation was conducted on June 21 through the same route. A plane belonging to the Russian Emergency Ministry took 80 people, including 48 children from Jordan.
