Guy Ritchie to make movie version of comic book
British filmmaker Guy Ritchie will adapt his comic book series "Gamekeeper" for the big screen, Hollywood press reported Thursday.
Published by Virgin Comics, "Gamekeeper" tells the story of a man deeply in tune with animal behavior who is in search of vengeance after his son is killed.
Joel Silver, whose work includes blockbusters such as "The Matrix," "Lethal Weapon" and "Die Hard," is set to produce the Ritchie film, according to industry publication Variety.
Ritchie, 38, the husband of pop legend Madonna, directed the British gangster flicks "Snatch" and "Lock, Stock and Two Smoking Barrels."
