Kislovodsk resort Park will soon get the status of a national Park that, in practice, fully in it will limit the human impact on nature, said at the meeting on the development of the Park presidential Plenipotentiary envoy in the North Caucasian Federal district Sergey Melikov.

according to his statement, also will be created a special institution for the Park management. He noted that the decision was preceded by a series of meetings and communication with residents and community members.
Kislovodsk Park have begun to settle in 1823, the plants there imported from Tbilisi and Riga, Western Ukraine and gardens of the North Caucasus. In the Park collected more than 250 different species of trees and shrubs. Until 1998, the Park was the largest in the European Union (948 hectares), currently more only Richmond Park in England (955 hectares).
