Sharapova is second in Yahoo Sports search list
Russian tennis star Maria Sharapova has been named the second most searched for sporting name on Yahoo`s Internet search engine in 2007, the Russian tennis player`s Web site said Tuesday.
Sharapova, 20, the 2004 Madrid WTA champion and the world`s highest paid female athlete last year, topped the list of athletes who were most often mentioned in Yahoo`s search engine.
According to Yahoo, the most popular ten searches are:

2. Maria Sharapova
3. Boston Red Sox
4. David Beckham
5. Serena Williams
6. Chicago Bears
7. Cristiano Ronaldo
8. Super Bowl
9. Ronaldinho
10. Ashley Force
